Trip Day 7 Berlin

By the time we got into Berlin we were rather tired. We arrived in the city around 4:30 am but we had no where to stay. After a couple hours of mulling around, we eventually found a hostel where we could hang out for a while until places actually opened. Being it was our first day in Berlin, we wanted to go see a concentration camp. We hadn't seen one yet, and we wanted to make sure we got to one before we left. As such we visited Sachsenhausen. It was an hour ride out of the city. We actually spent most of the day walking around in silence, looking at everything there was to see. It was a horrible experience, but definitely one i needed to have. It was interesting to see the sight of the gas chambers and mass graves. All of that in one place. I didn't feel right for the rest of the day. Afterwards we simply got to our hostel, which turned out to be an apartment, and rested.
