Trip Day 6 Amsterdam!

Sorry it has taken me so ridiculously long to finish this blog about the trip. Hopefully within the next day or so I will finish all of it, but for now let's talk about Amsterdam.

So Brussels was interesting but we knew it was time to move on. Originally we had planned on visiting Bastogne for its historical importance. However, it wasn't going to work out that way. We simply could not get there and get back in any feasible way, so we decided to see Amsterdam instead. So we hopped on a train and we were off. Amsterdam was an interesting city. I didn't really have any expectations for it, but figured I would just see what the city had to offer. We ended up wandering around mostly until we reached a nice vantage point overlooking a large majority of the city. Because it was raining and cold we really wanted to get someplace warm. What a better place than the Rembrandt museum. A short walk later we were walking through his house seeing some of the paintings he had done and admiring his work. Unfortunately we did not have a lot of time in the city, so we had to be quick. As the sun started to go down, we got on a train headed toward Dusseldorf and soon we would be in Berlin. On the train we had somewhat of a little party. So far our trip was fantastic, so we broke out some cheese and crackers and feasted as we sped along. Europe was turning out to be quite interesting.
